These notes are about several adjustments and fixes that we have pushed to production during the month of August 2024! We are working hard on the next big patch, for which you will receive details soon!
Legendary Items RNG Balancer #
Currently testing a prototype RNG balancer for Legendary Purple Items being rolled with the Loot NEED action. It will work under the hood and won’t be visible on the loot roll interface for now.
- Every time a player fails to win a Legendary Purple Item on a NEED roll, a boost value of +2 is added to his/her next Legendary Purple Item NEED roll.
- That value stacks with itself for as long as the player keeps loosing a NEED roll for a Legendary Purple Item (+2 is added each time a NEED roll is lost).
- Once that player wins a Legendary Purple Item with a NEED roll, the boost value is erased and returns to +0.
- This value is stored account wide, not per character.
This should fasten the natural even distribution of the RNG luck for Legendary items among Raiders. We’ll keep that monitored and adjust accordingly if/when necessary.
MISC #
- Added No-Rest zone on Underdark Central, you can now rest outside of the main gates, and on the Training Zone, just not on the main city ground.
- Added Mind Blank Potions to Seers Tent in Abiz.
- Removed old Fast Cast Stations signs in Mulrok Arena.
- Added option on Player Menu to check for personal Rest Cooldown.
- Adjusted Galbarog Spirit Master: selected less deadly spells.
- Maps for main Cities are discovered automatically now upon entering. Removed show map placeables in main cities too.
- Adjusted buffs fading floating text formatting
- Added invulnerability for 6 seconds after a resurrection
- Adjusted Pick Pocket to send logs on chat instead of on the combat log
- Slightly adjusted Unique Creatures buffs on low CR creatures, making them less deadly
- Adjusted Pillars Mechanic on Dungeons/Raids having an aura of a color based on the damage type they are going to deal
- Leveling Up now resets your Rest cooldown
- New characters now receive 10 food rations by default
FIXES #
- Fixed Temple Ruins Raid quest chest being lootable more than once
- Fixed several floating placeables in Mulrok Village
- Fixed several placeables orientations in Gurnal Crypts
- Testing a fix for balms resurrections without a corpse sometimes invalidating the spawn location if the player performing the balm resurrection dies while doing the resurrection.
- Fixed the loot system to prevent multiple loops of the same loot table if that table already dropped the item it was supposed to drop, and if the table is not set to drop at 100% of the times.
- Fixed an important issue on Dispel checks that was making the dispel attempt being checked against all linked effects for a single spell, instead of attempting the dispel only once per spell effects link group.
- Fixed an issue on Mord Dispel area check that was making it dispel only 1 best effect from all caught creatures instead of 2. Also improved the

. - Fixed an issue with AOE Dispel on ground using the wrong parameters
- Fixed an issue in the Dispel System allowing friendly dispels to remove friendly area of effect buffs from a friendly creatures.
- Fixed regression where Test characters could not load mounts anymore
- Fixed the Unique Creatures System allowing creatures without loot to become unique
- Fixed the Mounts System Forget button not removing the quickslot for that mount
- Fixed the Mounts System allowing the use of Mounts from quickslot even if the mount was forgotten
- Fixed Dummies in Test Area and in Mulrok Arena performing AOO
