Added 2x Underdark – Deep Caverns areas that will replace all the previous Underdark – Deep Caverns areas. These areas are CR 10-20 for the most part, and include new encounters and several new quests
With this patch we also took the change to properly reconnect underdark areas together and give them more sense based on their surface connections. For this we added a new Underdark – Deep Tunnels area that serves as a connection to the new Underdark – Deep Caverns and Underdark – East. This change added a new link from the underdark to the surface via Tomb of Forgotten Heroes (which is not not linked to Nocturnae Caves anymore)

Dungeon Rework: Damned Tower #
Damned Tower was the very first level 40 Dungeon we added back in 2019. The dungeon worked out so far but it was lacking internal building logic, scalability and a real meaning.
This rework completely reshapes the entire dungeon, by adding new creatures, new mini bosses and a new story. This dungeon rework also introduces a new expansion of the Dungeon tileset, that allows raisable floor tiles.
This is also the first reworked dungeon to get a completely new boss fight soundtrack! [Author]

Level 40 Dungeons: Loot adjustments #
The level 40 Dungeons serve, mostly, as a mean to gather Boss Tokens for both older and newer players. The most efficient way to do this is to farm fast level 40 dungeons in solo. This makes longer level 40 dungeons less attractive to players. Also, for new players that need proper gearing to join raids when they reach level 40, it gets hard for them to gear up properly by only farming for Boss Tokens.
To improve this, we have:
- Improved loot in the longer dungeons (i.e. Fury Tower, Temple of the Deads, Gnarled Fist Monastery, Damned Tower and Lair of the Archer). Final bosses on these dungeon now can also drop socket gems and also a selection of Legendary Purple Items (small chance). These dungeons are suitable for solo or parties of 1 to 3 unexperienced / badly geared players.
- More Celestial Bronze Keys have been added to high level quests. Also another Celestial Bronze Chest offers more options for new players trying to get the equipment needed to join raid groups.
- Boss Tokens drop in longer level 40 Dungeons has been slightly increased
New Placeable skill/ability check system #
A new system has been added to allow a player to perform an automatic skill / ability check while clicking on a particular placeable. A successfull check will have the placeable describe a specific situation, while failing won’t give the player enough data to properly understand the situation around that placeable. If failed, a player will be able to try again in some rounds. A first implementation of this system can be found on the new Damned Tower dungeon

NPCs Walk Waypoint System Reworked #
The base game system has been reworked and improved. All NPCs will now walk their daily routines properly, both in day and night.
They will resume their walking routine even if interrupted by a player via a conversation, or if interrupted because of a fight.
Misc Changes: #
- Added a total of 16 New Tilesets and 2 epansions to existing Tilesets to the game. The first implementation of these additions can be seen in the reworked Damned Tower dungen (Dungeon tileset expanded), and into the reworked Norther Pass – Deep Tunnel area (Caverns and Mines tileset expanded). Many more implementations of these new Tilesets will follow in future patches! For this addition, you’ll have to download approx 1.7GB of data the first time you will connect to the server after this patch.
