If the XP penalty incurred from any kind of resurrection (See Death & Resurrection System for more details) would make you lose your current level, you do acquire XP Debit instead, and your XP will be set to the minimum required to keep your current level.
The exceeding XP, will generate an XP DEBIT: #
- Level 40 character are an exception and can lose 1 or more levels depending on the resurrection option chosen.
- When you receive an XP Debit, you won’t be able to gain normal experience until the debit is paid.
- To pay the debit, you just have to earn XP in the normal way (e.g. kill monsters, do quests, complete dungeons) and that experience will take down the debit until completely cleared.
- If you die while still in a XP Debit, your next Resurrection will increase the XP Debit you already had up to the XP Debit limit.
- If you die while still in a XP Debit, and your XP Debit is already at is maximum, you won’t receive any additional penalty for that resurrection.
XP Debit Limit: #
- There is a XP Debit cap/limit of:
(Character Level * 2) * 1000
- As Example, a level 39 character can have a maximum XP Debit of
78000
